Rennzweier (The Double Racer)
For this build I decided to go back to the roots of
automobile racing and make one of the earliest forms of race car, the
Rennzweier. The Rennzweier or the Double
Racer, was manufactured on May 5, 1900. It could reach a speed of 82 km/h and had 2
seats, the driver’s seat which was heightened and the passenger seat that was
so low on the frame that the person’s legs hung out under the vehicle. This build consists of 2 models, the main
vehicle and a minifigure stand with a mini Rennzweier. The silver wheel in the back engine of the
main car spins when it’s driving. The
whole build consists of 1730 pieces.
