Fierljeppen

Fierljeppen is a Frisian variant of pole vaulting, where you have to jump over a ditch or canal by launching yourself with a long pole, and trying to avoid falling in the (dirty) water.

As a proud half-Frisian myself I thought this would be a perfect submission for this contest. 

As you can see in the corner, not all people quite make it to the other side. :)
