Sumo

As a person who is crazy fascinated with everything that is Japanese I wanted to create a LEGO model of japans national sport SUMO.

My goal was to create a model that could tell different stories depending how you display it. An "open" model with sumo wrestlers standing next to each other like they do in the ring entering ceremony or a "closed" model with the sumo wrestlers facing each other just before the match begins.

But most importantly, it should be a LEGO model that can be played around with. Find a fun way to show the actual fight between the two sumo wrestlers and capture that moment.
