Skate Competition

This is my tribute to skating in all it's forms! I've never been much of a skater, at least not in real life. I had friends that skateboarded when I was younger and I really envied them, it looked so cool and fun. As much as I tried it just didn't seem to be something that was ever going to happen for me. I had to settle for experiencing the thrills virtually in the awesome skateboarding videogames I would spend hours on end playing.

Now I'm older I'm finding a new love of skating through my daughter, she's recently got her first pair of roller skates and I completely hooked. She loves it so much that only seemed right that I get some myself and get out and skate with her. Hopefully roller skating is a little easier to get to grips with than skateboarding!

My design features a half pipe with an interactive skater! The control levers on the back of the model make it possible to skate up and down the ramp as well as perform spin tricks!
