Track Cycling (Motorized)

There is some sports out there that they are not getting the attention they deserve for various reasons. Track cycling is definetely one on the top of the list! A pure cycling competition in a closed course (velodrome track) where the athletes achieve speeds of up to 64 kph with no gears of breaks!

Exhilarating speeds, raw muscle power, extreme endurance, tactic battles and shoulder to shoulder competition, all in one thrilling spectacle for those watching!

Unfortunately the reason that this sport is not so popular is that it requires a very specific track on a very large property, which means that not so many people around the world can have the chance to have access in.

My lego creation is made of 638 parts and it is motorized with an XL PowerFunction motor. The pedal gear is rotated by a 5x5 LEGO rubber band (x90) connected to the motor underneath the track! The bike wheels are not spinning.
