Wheelchair Tennis
Wheelchair tennis players are truly an inspiration for me. It's really amazing how they manage to execute the shots while constantly having one hand on the wheel.
I always have great respect for these people, because they do not allow themselves to be held back by limitations. When you manage to turn your disability into a talent, you are really strong.
That is why I would think it would be really cool if attention was also paid to these athletes as a tribute when developing a new Lego set. That would be something completely unexpected and very different from the designs of other sets.
So I created a stadium with
- 2 wheelchair tennis players
- a referee sitting on a high chair
- 6 linesman
- 4 ball boys
- a lot of spectators sitting on a tribune some of them just bought tickets outside the stadium
- behind the stadium there is a small park with flowers, shrubs, a tree and a fountain
Unfortunately I couldn't find a Lego tennis ball, so I used a football.
