Why would you celebrate one sport if you could celebrate many more?

Everybody likes sport and that is why I hope everybody can find something in here what he/she loves.

The design can considered be interpreted in three ways: a trophy, a chess piece and an Olympic torch. The design combines bricks with technic to create an unique design.

Some 40 sports are represented in this design (I dare you to find 1:extreme ironing). From ancient Greek sports to modern times. The cauldron is being lit, so let the games begin!

I had a lot of fun designing it and trying techniques I’ve never used before. Like the baseplate to create a circular base of this size, the technic construction that connects the top to the base and the upside down plates in order to create this shape. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did and as a gift I put these techniques in as a renden so you can replicate them if you want.

The build consists of 2900 bricks.
