Thunder Driller

Growing up, one of my all-time favorite themes was Power Miners, which I'm sure many 2000s kids can agree with. And what better way to pay tribute to this iconic series than to remake what I consider the theme's 'mascot' set...the epic Thunder Driller! While smaller in size than the original, it surprisingly contains slightly more pieces and, believe it or not, retains the same dual counter-rotating drill function using a simple gear mechanism as seen in one of the images (I re-created a prototype of the same mechanism in real life...and it works!).

I never got the original Thunder Driller when I was a child, so I am really hoping that this modern re-imagining can become a reality. I am confident this will hit the right nostalgic notes with early 2000s fans, while also being a fun toy for new kids.
