Mars Mission - Red Planet Astronaut Patrol

Ever since getting into Lego in the 2000's, I've seen many different great themes. Of all those themes, my absolute favourite to this day has been 2007's Mars Mission. When I first found out about this challenge, I knew I had to revisit this theme and make a a modern take on it the best that I can

I have decided to make my interpretation of a modern day recreation of the 7695 Astro Fighter, protecting a recreation of the 5616 Mini Robot from possible alien attackers. Every decal on the ship, robot and minifigures have been created by me to sell the feel of the theme. The set includes the Astro Fighter, Mini Robot, a small Mars scenery piece with some energy crystals ready for mining, and of course 2 Astronaut minifigures

Both the backgrounds, as well as the effects on the main image, have been created by me digitally to recreate feel of the Mars Mission theme and the original sets

I hope this model can invoke some nostalgia with people who grew up with the theme like I did
