The Red Garage
Introducing the LEGO Red Garage, this build pays homage to one of the first LEGO sets, LEGO Systems 236-1 Garage, while giving a former LEGO element a new model. This sleek design showcases an enlarged red and white garage along with a red tow truck and a tool cabinet. Some elements from the original design were kept, such as the color scheme, while adding modern Lego elements, such as masonry bricks along the bottom perimeter and a garage door (commonly used in today's LEGO CITY sets). The garage's chosen vehicle is a LEGO version of the 1:87 metal Bedford Tow Truck that accompanied early sets. Details such as the flatbed and tow hook were given a modern Lego design. The last feature of this set is the minifigure, which resembles LEGO's first mascot used to promote early LEGO Systems sets. This minifigure is ready with its toolbox, tow truck, and garage to help out those in need.
