Robo Pod & Wild Pod: Reconstructed

Creator X-Pods were small but great sets. They stood out because of a 3 part pod that could contain the rest of the pieces but also could be used for building! It was truly special to me as a kid because I loved to take LEGO with me for travels. Robo Pod 4346 and Wild Pod 4349 were both a ton of fun since they offered much playability with lots(at this time) of movable connections.

With my version of the two sets I focused on these key features. I incorporated a whole or a piece of pod to each of the build(3 per pod) and expanded on playability using modern joint/ballshaft pieces.

Each pod, itself included, contains 100 elements. I upped the number of pieces from the original sets to fit into challenge requirements but it also allowed me to construct more detailed mechs and beasts. Each pod still manages to fit in all of those 100 pieces!
