Oasis Ambush 2.0

The original Oasis Ambush (or for me at that time: "Das Grab des Anubis") was not one of my first lego sets, but one of the most interesting. A small set with a high playability, an interesting mechanic and a hidden treasure. I loved the Adventurers Series, but only had a few smaller sets from it. Never had a real Lego Mummy though.

My reimagined version of 5938 Oasis Ambush includes the iconic tomb with the hidden treasure in Anubis' body. The tomb and surroundings are partly covered with sand to give it a proper desert vibe. The old chain mechanic has been a bit adapted, instead of pulling a lever (spear), you now have to first remove the sand from the mechanic and then pull the scorpion statue. Inside the tomb you will find a mummy with some burial objects.

Sam Sinister (or is it Baron von Barron in disguise?!) is still hiding in the oasis.
