The Inventor's Workshop

Based on the character Nuparu, an inventor appearing as far back as 2001. Even after he became a Toa, he stayed curious, always wondering about the world around him, and never dismissing the potential therein.

Nuparu is a good representative of Bionicle-- a curious builder, traveling through an ever-growing world, always eager to see what comes next. I felt much the same when Bionicle was new, and I've been a curious builder ever since.

This is mostly a display piece, although some functionality is included. The desk lamp lights up, and the gear function on Nuparu's device moves the drill bit.

I wanted this to tap into the scenery brought us by the Mata Nui Online Game, so I tried to use System and early Bionicle/Technic parts. Many other entries prove that Bionicle doesn't have to be exclusively constraction to be good, and I wanted to lend my design toward that as well.

Thanks for viewing and considering my work. Best of luck to all entrants, and play well!
