Toa Jaller Revamp

When I first saw the contest I immediately knew that I had to do a submission from the wave of Bionicle sets that got me interested in the first place. When the To a Mahri came out back in 2007, I instantly had a favorite, and Jaller is still one of the coolest-looking Toa to date. For my revamp of him, I wanted to keep the original aesthetic of the set, and I've reused many of the parts that came with it to make it feel as though it's the same product from when I was a kid. Additional inspiration was taken from the comics, in which Jaller was always missing a hand piece for some reason, so I've incorporated that into my design as well. The seafloor base seemed only natural to aid in posing the model, and I'm proud of how it turned out and how it adds to the deep-sea feel of the character.
