Minifigure: The Sausage Maker

How else did you think LEGO sausage was made?

The separator is done in black because that's the only color that has all the parts needed. 

The model is 16 studs wide by 55 studs long and about 24 bricks high and uses 478 parts. I built out the thick side with more bricks to ensure there's plenty of weight to support the thin handle part. I also kept the handle to a minimum of parts to keep the weight down.

The toughest part was the many iterations of the handle. I knew it had to be based on the 1x3 slopes to line up with the angle of the real separator and I had to make sure the details of the handle were represented so I couldn't just build up the slope bricks. After much trial and error I ended up with what you see here. Underneath the plates there's clips and handle bar plates attaching the handle to the base and the assembly just rests freely on the slope bricks.

I don't have a good setup for pictures of the real thing, but I'll post a couple of the actual model once this is approved.
