Minifigure: Invasion of the Broccoli, 1956

June 3rd, 1956: All is calm. People walk up and down the streets going about their daily lives. The early morning sun beats down upon the small village of Littleton, USA. But, just then, the whole town freezes (not literally) as the sun seems to disappear behind a large, shiny object! Citizens scream as the "Thing" comes crashing to the ground. With help from special effects and dry ice, the UCO (Unidentified Crashed Object) becomes shrouded in fog. A sharp hissing sound penetrates the fog, accompanied by the sound of metal clanking. Then, a small, yet ominous creature emerges. Children scream, people faint; BROCCOLI! The stuff of nightmares has landed on Earth and obliterated Mayor Dave's flower garden! The vicious vegetables begin throwing bananas, carrots, and cherries at the residents of Littleton! No one knows what to do! Somebody needs to devise a plan to rid the planet of these evil creatures before it's too late...
