Creatures: Errol’s Magical Castle of Blurry Postal Memories
The Burrow, a teetering tall building with
a central chimney and rickety staircase and held together by magic, was not
only the Weasley’s home and Harry’s second favorite building after Hogwarts, it
was the home of many magical creatures: the ghoul in the attic, the garden gnomes,
Arnold the Pygmy Puff, the owls Pigwidgeon and Hermes. Most interestingly, it
was the home of the family courier owl, the erratic, ancient, nearly blind,
moulting feather duster of a bird - Errol.
Imagine all the memories he’d have after
years of delivering mail for the Weasley family: crashing into the kitchen
window, being nearly sat on by Percy, needing five days to recover from the
trip to Hogwarts with Mrs. Weasley’s enormous fruitcake and assorted meat pies
for Harry, delivering the Howler to Ron, barely bringing Harry’s birthday gift
from Ron all the way from Egypt, even spending time with Hedwig and Harry.
The model was built in LDD with 8298
bricks, opens on two sides and has 6 floors and an attic.
