Kraken Attackin'!

The Kraken is one of the oldest pieces of pirate folklore, and is commonly depicted as a giant creature with tentacles that emerge from beneath the water to plunge unsuspecting ships into the depths below.

I have created an interpretation of the unseen creature, wrapping its red limbs around a pirate ship and dragging it under while the captain steers to save his vessel.

The front of the ship has been detached by the force of the monster, and I have used a combination of tiles and wedges to give the impression of torn planks. I have also recreated damaged masts and ripped sails to show the extent of the Kraken's damage.
