Shipwreck Skull Tavern Captains Gathering.

In order to honour all those pirates, I thought about redesigning every pirate ship set from 1989 until 1997, when they stopped being produced.

Therefore I designed a massive tavern fortress that consists of all the vintage sets together. A tavern at the front side with an imposing skull that scares off the uninvited! Built from two (1993-6268 Renegade Runner / 1997-Cross Bone Clipper Set 6250) sets, you enter through the big stairs and the first floor, where (1993-6286 Skull's Eye Schooner) is built and you arrive at the great balcony (1989 6285 Black Seas Barracuda), where the pirates are gathered for the great blowout at the bow. The barracuda’s stern stands as the skull’s hat. Finally, the roof consists of (1996 - 6289 Red Beard Runner).

Thus all captains are invited at this gathering, in order to celebrate the 90th anniversary of LEGO!!!

I dedicate this set to my father! As an old captain that he really was!
