Wreck of the Skull's Eye Schooner

6286 Skull's Eye Schooner was a set released in 1993 as part of the Pirates line. Here I suggest what might've happened to it, with a colorful underwater diorama of a sunken shipwreck.

The once proud buccaneer vessel has now been claimed by the sea. Its hull is covered in barnacles and seaweed; its masts has toppled; one of its four-ton cannons has sunk into the sand; and a community of fish now call it home.

A present day diver explores the wreckage, equipped with an underwater camera. They're sure to discover the remains of the captain, still clinging to the wheel. And if they're lucky, they might get to meet the ship's current resident, relaxing in the remains of the captain's cabin...
