The Open Ocean

In many classic pirate LEGO sets (including the famous Black Seas Barracuda), you can find a very endearing monkey. Despite this monkey being, in my opinion, the highlight of the set, he never gets his own ship. Well, I think I have fixed that problem! When the Barracuda shipwrecked at Barracuda Bay, the monkey made himself his own boat made out of two of the ship's life boats. This vessel he dubbed "The Open Ocean." For the figurehead, he used a piece of horse armor plundered by the pirates. He also brought with him much of the pirate's supply of food, as well as the "Hose's Inn" sign posted outside the small bar on Barracuda Bay. Apparently the island was home to a chimpanzee before the pirates crashed, so our monkey freind brought him along on board The Open Ocean.
