BRB: An Offline Story

There are a lot of classical strategy games, I tried to make them recognizable in my creation. Nowadays, you can even build a whole empire online. You can team up with your friends or even strangers. The games give you lots of rewards and make you stay in front of the screen all the time.

My story starts at noon on a Sunday. Because of family events, I need to miss out a day of gaming, so I put my BRB sign in my room. The clock on my sign shows the passage of time. When I'm offline, the enemy is attacking and farming my city. It's not the first time that somebody has decided to farm my city, so I need to rebuild it again. This made me realize that the online world can't be stopped, it will keep moving on without me. This realization has reduced my addiction.

My entry is fully buildable, I tested the mechanism in real life. The parts are connected to a crawler, and they are divided into sections so that each part can be rotated around. I created it as a tribute to the strategy games.
