Brix Headroom
20 minutes into the future...
Who could be more iconic to the 80's than Max Headroom? Not many, I'm sure. In the late 80's Max was everywhere, in advertising, music videos (Art of Noise, Paranoimia. Check it out!), not to mention headlining not one, but two television series that bore his name. This not-CGI not-AI got everyone talking about what the future of tech might be. Max's unique snark, glitchy speech and colorful backgrounds were iconic even without Max. Just watch the 80's Diner scene in Back to the Future, part II.
Max was hugely prescient in ways other than tech. His fight against corporate greed, network propaganda and "fake news" came decades before the term was even coined. He fought censors, both in-show and real life and always stood for truth and the little guy. We need Max Headroom in the modern day more than ever. Make this a reality. Bring back Max!
Max: "What I want to know is why are the only funny lines on this show the ones behind me?"
