Ladies and gentlemen, Garfield and Friends!
Garfield is one of the most instantly recognizable comic strip characters of all time! Begun in the late 1970s by creator Jim Davis, the famous feline shot to higher heights of popularity with the Saturday morning cartoon Garfield and Friends airing in 1988 and lasting seven seasons! Since then the numbers of movies, TV series, and merchandising is almost infinite! So why not a fitting tribute in LEGO form?!
In Garfield and Friends we not only got the fun-loving antics of Garfield but also the cast of Jim Davis' other comic strip US Acres! Creator Jim Davis grew up on and it served as inspiration for both of his famous comic strips which then inspired this classic show!
Included are Garfield, Jon Arbuckle (his owner), Odie (Jon's dog), and from US Acres we have Orson the wise pig and leader of the group, Wade the more often than not terrified duck, Roy the jokester rooster, Booker the young chick, and Sheldon who refuses to hatch! Enjoy!
