Family Road Trip

Family road trips are a major part of the experience of being part of one. Many memories are created during road trips when you stop at roadside attractions, amusement parks, and even just being in the car with your family. I built a map of the USA with some of Mexico and Canada shown. The map includes a compass and 60 "thumbtacks." There are approximately 490 pieces. The thumbtacks can be placed onto the map every time the family visits a new place. There are representations of the more round Appalachian Mountains and the pointier Rocky Mountains.
