Suspended

My Lego creation is based on the work of Menashe Kadishman - 'Suspended'.

This is not a copy as (i) it used only white pieces even all the Technic skeleton inside (black and blue pins), (ii) dimensions were not scaled down exactly (iii) I have added an extra block

The original sculpture is using weathering hollow steel blocks. The Center of gravity is much lower than in my concept where I had to include a skeleton to joggle the higher load of the weight versus the maximum load that can hold bricks tilted with a 45-degree angle. This is the reason why I Have added an extra block to balance out the load.

As people discover the real artwork in the park, Lego people have the same surge in getting photographed lifting up one seemingly huge block.

Final project measures about 50 x 20 x 25 cm.
