Future

Art for me is how we express ourselves. It can be through paintings, drawings and even through performance. To express my thoughts, I have built a model called 'Future'. As we all should be aware now that deforestation and global warming is huge right now and my build is to show everyone what our future could look like if we don't act now. A small plant could become so rare that it would need to be saved in a case of glass.

My model is of a small plant encased in a glass dome as a display item. It shows that the day is not far where we would have to go to museums to see what a plant is. I have used an interesting build technique which involves the net piece. I built around the net with plates and studs to create a bendy effect. I sat the middle of the net part up a couple of plates higher than the outside which makes it look like the plant is on a bumpy surface.
