Still Life With LEGO

Still lifes are an integral part of art. For ages. But one subject is still missing: LEGO bricks! So this still life shows the world’s miracles from the perspective of art. Instead of apples or oranges, both a yellow and a red brick 1 x 2, as well as a blue brick 1 x 1 are lying inside a bowl, next to it lies a blue brick 1 x 1, symbolizing that bricks are – at least for me – as essential for life as fruits. In a vase, two flowers are standing with a yellow and a blue plate 2 x 2 as petals. They show the blooming creativity and fantasy of designers like us. In the background, a window is partially opened, symbolizing the way to the partially unknown future of LEGO builders. The future is a part of us. We are a part of the future. So open the windows and feel the new era beginning!

The model consists of 1193 parts and measures 32 x 32 x 33 studs. All parts are existing in the used colours and the model is stable enough in reality (Studio’s stability check only shows irrelevant warnings).
