Emotion Through Vision
This piece focuses on the art that is the human eye. Here we've captured a close up head-on view of an eye on a 32x32 baseplate. Details include the upper and lower eyelashes, Iris, pupil, eyebrow and even the red veins created with Lego snakes.
We decided to represent vision as it's the sense that reads art in various ways and every persons eye has a different take on the same piece of art. Everyone is defined by what they've seen and this is why we feel vision is the most important sense when it comes to viewing and creating art. Eyes also tell stories and express emotions effectively and are one of the key elements of an image that viewers are drawn to first, setting the mood.
