Galaxy Squad Inspired Build - The Hive Beast

Galaxy Squad was my favorite Space theme as a kid, and I wanted to honor it.

Watch out! A member of the Green Team has found his way into the insectoids' main hive, and a terrible Hive Beast is coming after him!

Bricklink Studio doesn't have any of the Galaxy Squad prints - at least not my version - and I had to make do with various parts, but I like how it turned out!

The Hive Beast is a reference to many of the insetcoids' living vehicles: its name is similar to the Hive Crawler's (70708), its long bending body was inspired by the Caterpillar's/Centipede's (70709), it features a pair of scythe-like limbs like the Star Slicer does (70703), and its overall color scheme is a mix of all of them.

The Hive Beast's design is a mix between a grub, a centipede, and a mantis. It features six pairs of crushing legs, two long grasping appendages, two short ones, two scythe-like limbs, and four pairs of small legs too short to be of any use spread on its first body segment.
