Mining Base on Mars

The first space themed Lego set I ever built was 7692, from the Lego Mars Mission series. The thing that stood out about that set, and the whole Mars Mission series was the colour scheme: White and Orange for the ships/vehicles and transparent green aliens.

This build is inspired by the Mars Mission series and it's colours. One a rocky, red planet, humans have set up a mining facility to harvest the precious stones found within the rocks, but not everyone is happy about this. A crew of miners have just left the base to collect more of the valuable resource when a group of the planets native inhabitants ambush them and make their displeasure known. The rest of the crew back at base can do nothing but watch as their colleagues fend of their attackers.
