Molecular Biology Lab

This set includes a life-size automatic pipette with an attached pipette tip (77 pieces), a working tabletop minicentrifuge (149 pieces), a tray with three empty vials (7 pieces) and a small bottle of reagent (5 pieces). The minicentrifuge has a rotor for 10 PCR tubes and rotates 5 times for every three crank rotations. In real life this kind of small low-speed centrifuge is used to get all the liquid in the bottom of the tube to mix the reagents or to facilitate pipetting. It usually has a clear lid to prevent small parts flying away, but this one does not have that risk. The pipette is the workhorse of the molecular biology lab. It would need a sticker on the side to show the volume and one on the plunger button at the top to show the range. In real life the button on the back is used to eject the tips. The tray and the bottle are included so you can practice your pipetting skills. The model uses only available colors.
