The Clock of Flowing Time

Welcome to The Clock of Flowing Time! This work is made up as you can see of a clock (which has its mechanism using various gears) and a magnificent wave.

We chose this title to name our work because it represents the time that passes over the days. This passage is demonstrated the presence of a wave that is about to flow, to throw itself on the clock. We therefore do not see what happens next: this is the role of Fortune. The goddess Fortuna, goddess of chance will take care of the next action. This work of art is therefore a metaphor of our life: the actions follow one after the other without our being able to anticipate them.

Moreover, this clock is the symbol of happy life. Indeed it symbolizes the actions that follow one another. Thus, as the philosopher Machiavelli thinks, to live happily, it is necessary to change, to move constantly. This is what is represented by the multiple gears which, by turning the crank, begin to move.
