Picnic Paradise by the Old Willow
Picnic Paradise by the Old Willow features a picnic area, where figures can relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, a small food container and a beautiful majestic tree. The tree is built in an interesting way that allows it to bend, giving it a more unique and realistic look. The flex tube and studs facing outward allow figures to be posed on the tree as if climbing it, which makes for a pretty fun look.
This build was especially challenging because of the parts budget; 250 pieces is not a lot to work with, but I am very proud of what I was able to do with the limited parts. The main focus of the build is the tree, so I spent the most time working on that. It ended up using a total of 176 pieces. For this build, I wanted to challenge myself to use new techniques to try to make the tree look as realistic as possible. Two figures are also included. This set makes for a fantastic display piece, and gives people a fun and interesting building experience.
