Hey Diddle Diddle ... The Cow Jumped Over the Moon
This pop-up of Hey, Diddle, Diddle includes a cat, a fiddle
(guitar), and a brick built cow jumping over the moon using a modified version
of the mechanism from Jack and the Beanstalk. It also includes a dog minfig to
laugh at the sight and a dish and spoon with added legs so the two can run away together. The
town below the moon is meant to represent early England, the potential source
of the nursery rhyme. The brick built city folds into itself, and the green
fields provide space for the moon support structure to sit above the fields
when folded. This story fits into an unmodified Brick Tales Pop-Up Book. The
round tiles used for the moon’s eyes could be replaced with printed eye pieces
(not available in LDD).
