Mars Mission

This is based on fact, not fiction. Well, I don't really expect the base on mars to look like that, but other than that, yeah fact. NASA plans for people to go to The Red Planet in the 2030s, but SpaceX is trying to send people there by 2024.

If you look inside the Mars base then you can see a small garden, which is growing lettuce. They do plan to grow lettuce on mars because potatoes take up to much room to grow, plus they are high on sugars and starch, plus you have to cook them before you can eat them. Leafy plants can also recycle air and water.

I have also included a 3D printer in my model. They plan to have them so that they don't have to make their tools extra sturdy during launches, plus if they ever need a new type of tool, instead of waiting for one to be delivered from earth, they can make their own. They are also working on recycling plastic for their 3D printers.

There was a lot more that I wanted to add, such as exercise machines and toilets, but I didn't have enough room.
