Cinderella

I was inspired to recreate this classic scene from Cinderella - the losing of the glass slipper.

For the main insert I've designed the pumpkin carriage, and the staircase out of the palace with the iconic glass slipper left on a step. Behind is a clock about to strike midnight, the moon and some stars. The moon and stars fall into place as the book is opened, and push back to centre when the book is closed (the mechanism is designed based on Dalmaster's amazing Neverland entry).

In the front corners of the pop-up book are a pumpkin patch with one of Cinderella's mouse friends, and the fireplace she is tasked with cleaning from which she got her name "Cinderella", partially cleaned with bucket and brush nearby.

This is my first ever submission to this site after recently rediscovering my love of Lego, so I hope you like it!

I know there is at least one other Cinderella-themed model, but I think they are fairly different and any similarities are coincidental.
