2-in-1 Hakuna Matata

This diorama consists of 799 pieces and recreates two momements of the Hakuna Matata scene in The Lion King: cub Simba in front of the waterfalls and adult Simba in front of the moon. You can easily switch between the two moments by switching Simba and turning the background (after removing two technic pins put there for stability).

The background, log and plants form three layers similar to an animation technique used in Disney films. Different layers of drawings would prevent artists from having to redraw the environments whenever a character 'moved', while also creating extra depth.

I used a flower and a candle flame for Pumbaa's and cub Simba's tails respectively. I also used bananas for a part of adult Simba's mane.

For Timon I planned to use the body of a mushroom from the new Dreamzzz theme in combination with Rocket Raccoon's head from the Marvel theme (both recoloured of course). However, these parts are not in BrickLink Studio yet so I had to substitute them.
