Disney Wonder and Imagination
Searching for a classic and favorite scene to celebrate 100 years of Disney, I stumbled upon an image of this scene from Bambi and for me, this perfectly illustrates what 100 years of Disney is all about... wonder and imagination. As a little child I saw Bambi for the first time and it filled me not only with joy but off course, also with sadness and all of the emotions in between. The story tells important lessons of life and love and that makes Bambi my favorite Disney classic.
My main goal of this build is to get as close as possible to the "elegantly animated and deeply touching, enduring, endearing, and moving Disney classic".
The set includes my version of Bambi in Lego, looking over his shoulder to see what came flying on his tale, with all of his childish wonder. And off course, his closest friend Thumper couldn't stay away.
This would make for an beautiful display piece and it would be my dream to see this design in an actual Lego set!
