Oliver and Company: Hot Dog Liberation
One of my favorite Disney films of all time is Oliver And Company. The 1988 film is a retelling of Charles Dickens’ story Oliver Twist but with dogs and cats. One of my favorite parts about the film is its music; and the song “Why should I Worry?” performed by Billy Joel as Dodger.
The scene I built is from the very beginning where Oliver who is alone in the big city meets Dodger a street savvy canine. Dodger then convinces Oliver to help him steal some hot dogs from Old Louie.
I built the scene in a diorama-like style with the street and alleyway view of New York City. I also built Old Louie’s Hot Dog Cart that includes sausages, hot dog buns, mustard and ketchup.
