Jolly Holiday

I can think of no better movie to encapsulate my love for Disney as well as the impact of Disney on cinema than Mary Poppins. It was the first Disney film I ever saw and it holds a special place for me and many others. Whether it be tea parties on the ceiling, dance parties with chimney sweeps, or snapping your fingers to clean your room, the magic of Mary Poppins is infectious.

I chose to try my best to capture one of the more groundbreaking moments from the film: the Jolly Holiday sequence inside the chalk painting. A seamless blend of the classic Disney animation with the best of its live action performances makes this moment a stand out.

The set includes Mary Poppins, Bert, Jane Banks, Michael Banks, and 2 Penguin Waiters. Sit down for some tea at the small cafe table or take a spin on a functioning carousel. If you find that too dull, take your horse on a joy ride of your own. You never know what you'll get up to when you spend an afternoon with Mary!
