Augmented Reality Goggles
Summary
Put on your holographic goggles (such as Hololense) and be emersed into the world of the brick - 360 degrees. Being able to talk to your goggles is super important here. This is all about building enhancement through digital visualisations of really builds you make! This wouldn't be limiting creativity but further enhancing it by giving holographic projections of what your model could potentially look like.
What do you do?
Step 1: put on your augmented reality goggles
Step 2: in front of your building table, start playing with your brick collection
Step 3: ask your assistant any of the following commands listed below!
Step 4: watch a hologram image appear of the completed command you asked for. Wow!
The voice interface would have the following abilities.
- Identify element id
- Alternative compatible pieces
- How many of that piece you have
- How many pieces your friend has
- Price of that piece
- Suggested building tips
- In any unopened sets you own
- Able to buy a wanted piece you need from LEGO or the secondhand market (an optional feature that could prove dangerous for your bank account)
On command, your holographic goggles would have the ability to
- Create instructions for models
- Change scales (example 1:400 to 1:800)
- How to improve stability, functions of a model
Other commands
- Build me a ...
- Find me element 3004 (or 1x2 brick)
Just like other voice apps on devices, just say the magic word for your goggles to listen.
- "Hey Emmet..."
- "Hey Lucy..."
- "Unikitty, pretty please..."
- Or any other character of your choice!
This idea was of original thought and further inspired by this scene from TLM.
