The Coded Pianist

Want to show off your coding skills? Want to give an amazing performance? Or perhaps you just wish to have some fun?

Either way, this voice-controlled music maker is for you!

My idea is called The Coded Pianist. It consists of a pair of hands with fingers that are individually controlled via coding and your voice!

These fingers will be able to be instructed to press piano keys to play music.

There will be two modes to the Coded Pianist. The first mode will allow the hands to play notes that the user has coded beforehand. After the fingers have been informed on which keys on the piano to press, it will be possible to assign a voice command to those specific lines of code. Then you will be able to tell the hands to play all sorts of songs!

The second mode will allow the user to record and hum a tune into a microphone, which will result in the hands playing that tune after the recording is finished. For this mode, note recognition technology will be implemented.

It should also be noted that the hands will be attached to a base, and this base will allow the hands to slide side to side to allow them to reach more piano keys.

I think this idea will provide a fun way to learn to code, as well as play around with the endless possibilities of your melodic skill.
