The Centipede

Imagine your relief when you finally see the exit door up the flight of stairs, only to realise that it is actually a spirit of a centipede that had taken over the staircase like a gatekeeper who controls access and use.

 

While you process your fear, the legs will come alive and embrace you as it beckons you to climb up its tummy to the awaiting mouth. The staircase will start to curl up to form a mouth to finally swallow you whole. This is the ghost that never lets you leave!
