The Grasshopper

The Grasshopper is an experimental green-energy ship powered by plants! The ship features three thrusters fueled by the oxygen produced in four photosynthesis chambers/terrariums. The chambers are filled with genetically modified Earth plants grown on the moon to be stronger and hardier for the long journey to Mars. This ship only has room for one brave pilot in its cabin, who will pioneer this new plant based technology alone to test it's applications for further use on a larger scale. Once the journey is complete, the Grasshopper will become a cornerstone of colonial Mars life, providing robust adult plants for the beginnings for martian farming and Earth-like bio habitats on the surface of the planet.
