Titan 3

The Titan 3 is capable of taking astronauts to the Moon or Mars in a comfortable environment. The Titan 3 consists of a main module and two additional modules that detach. The detachable modules will depart from the main module and land on the surface of the Moon or Mars. The resulting module remains in orbit around the planetary body. The main module includes a solar sail to aid in the long distance trip. Once the two smaller modules break off, the solar sail converts to a set of 16 solar panels while the main module is in orbit. The Titan 3 is a simple design but is fit for the job. Four aero-spike style engines will carry the craft from Earth to its destination. For a long trip to Mars the solar sail will provide additional propulsion toward the destination. The bendable landing pads for the two smaller craft allow for easy take off and landing on the surface of the Moon or Mars. The Titan 3 consists of a unique design with a crew that is bound for adventure.
