Dual-manned Aerospace Rocket Technology (DART)

The goal of this project was to make a rocket that was more eco-friendly than other rockets and still takes a two-man crew to the moon and back. The result is the Dual-manned Aerospace Rocket Technology or DART for short. The tube uses electromagnets to propel DART far in the sky. I was inspired by Japan's bullet trains to create this mechanism. After the rocket exits the 1.5-kilometer long tube, it will propel itself out of the atmosphere. After it exits the atmosphere, DART then uses the onboard fuel to propel itself to the moon. This idea will be beneficial to the environment because it limits lots of carbon dioxide emissions that would have been released if it were a normal rocket.
