Moon To Mars Rocket

This spacecraft is my first entry to the contest. It features a design like a normal rocket, but it isn't a normal rocket. The second picture shows the crew stage, where the crew will preform scientific experiments in deep space on their long mission to Mars. The third picture depicts the cargo stage. Once the craft reaches mars, the crew stage will break away from the cargo stage and will be used as a lander. The cargo pods will also drop and land in the area arround the landing site of the lander. Inside the cargo pods could be a variety of different items like base building supplies, robots, food and water (see next picture). The last stage is the fuel stage with contains liquid oxidizer and liquid hydrogen to be burnt in the combustion chamber at the very back of the rocket. A second rocket will arrive later in the mission carrying enough fuel to make the return journey home.
