ATHENA I - 2028
ATHENA I - 2028
Spaceship for a mission from the moon to Mars with ion engine. The central part is habitable, is rotative and can generate artificial gravity. I did not want a ship with lots of little decors and cabling: it's pretty to the eyes, but it does not make sense.

Reconfigure aircraft and train Lego meta-parts, seems to me very appropriate, to show that the next ship, will be something between the "space train", the "space plane" and the rocket.
The dream is at hand. In 10 years, we can build the ship that will take us to Mars. In 2028, everything is possible.
In honor of Athena, goddess of intelligence and skill, war strategy, craftsmanship
I was inspired by 2 things:
- The Cyberlab, in Capitaine Flam (French), Captain Future (English), and Kyaputen Fyūchā (Japanese)
- Vinean spaceship, humanoid race, comics by Roger Leloup (Belgium) in "Yoko Tsuno"
