ARES Model 2.6
This is the rocket ARES Model 2.6. It will take the first human(s) to Mars!
Since we are quite close to reaching Mars - it will happen in the near future. There will not have been any new technological breakthroughs. We will have to do it the classic way - the hard way.
The Ares 2.6 has 3 stages.(Pic1)
Stage 1-2 -Takeoff from the Moon!(Pic2) Stages 1-2 put the rocket on a course to Mars.
Two extra engines (Stage 1.5) will fall off when fuel runs out in them - building up speed at first and then reducing weight of the rocket. Another part of the rocket (Stage 2) will do the same at similar circumstances.
At the end of Stage 2 the Command and Service Module (from now on CaSM) will have reached Mars' orbit.
Stage 3 -The CaSM will split into two parts. One part will remain in orbit while the other one, the Mars Module, will land on the surface of Mars.(Pic4)
The Ares 2.6 has landed. Humans have successfully landed on Mars!(Pic5)
